This is just the beginning to my Mighty Morphin and Dino Thunder Power Ranger Team-up. I saw one of these and thought it was really cheesy and skipped the details. Other people thought it was good but I thought I could do better. Currently doing research to set it all up but here's the beginning to hopefully get you hanging out for more. It is set sometime around the dino thunder series and you will get to know what the old rangers are up to now adays as the story progresses.
It had been an ordinary school day for Ms. Hart. Her class had been writing stories, working on their multiplication and doing some art and craft. As the day was finishing up Ms. Hart was testing her class on their spelling.
"E-L-E-P-H-A-N-T. Elephant!" young Sarah answered.
"Very good, Sarah," Ms. Hart replied.
Suddenly the bell rang to signal the end of the school day. The students wriggled in their chairs, waiting to be dismissed.
"Okay, I would like you all to read the next chapter of your books and I will see you tomorrow. Good afternoon class."
"Good afternoon Ms. Hart," the grade four children gave their response, leapt from their seats and stampeded from the class room. A plump, red haired woman who was entering the class pressed herself against the doorframe to let the children pass.
Ms. Hart looked up from her desk where she was straightening a pile of papers and smiled, "Hello, Gloria!"
"Hello, Kim," the woman named Gloria said, finally entering the room, "Glad the day is over?"
Kim paused for a moment, "I think the kids just get wilder every year."
"Oh this came for you," Gloria handed a package to Kim.
"Ah, thank you," Kim said, taking a look at the package.
It had "Urgent" and "Recipients Eyes Only" stamped on what would have been a flat A4 envelope if not for the lump that stuck out. A quizzical look formed on Kim Hart's face.
Gloria read Kim's expression, "I have no idea who sent it. It just kind of arrived."
Kim flipped the envelope over a few times to inspect it. After a few moments silence Gloria spoke again, "Well I better be going. I'll see you tomorrow morning."
Gloria gave a little wave and exitted the room. As soon as she was gone Kim stuck a fingernail under the envelope and tore it open. She tipped it upside down and the object that formed the lump landed on the table with a loud and unexpected thud. But the noise was no surprise compared to what Kim felt when she realised what it was.
"Why...?" she was lost for words.
She stuck her hand into the envelope looking for answers, barely removing her eyes from the object on her desk. She pulled out a letter and her eyes fell quickly to the bottom of the page where the sender's name sat.
